This is the centre console seat belt clip. These often wear out or become badly worn over time.
We currently have these in beige and can also get them in black.
This is an aftermarket fitment with an additional optional feature of a seatbelt in use switch, this if wired up to suitable circuitry could alert the lack of seatbelt wearing or act as a security device by disabling the vehicle unless the seatbelt is on etc.
If not needed the wires can safely be cut off the unit. The switch is closed when the seatbelt is out.
NOTE: the release button maybe on either side. They may also fit other small trucks.
