A pillar mounted telescoping aerial, complete with mount base and screws.
replaces the existing aerial.
Installation: if the old aerial is still there then remove it and cut the cable off the aerial and keep the cable from falling inside the pillar. then using tape, tape the new aerial plug end on to the old cable. you can then carefully pull the cable from inside to thread the new cable through.
we strongly suggest liberally applying some polyurethane adhesive such as evostik Sticks like sh*t white adhesive in the aerial hole , screw holes and under the foot washer when re-installing the new aerial.
This will keep water out from rotting your windscreen pillar and rotting your aerial .
wipe off any excess once fitted, once dry any left to remove can be scraped off with a plastic edge/sealant removal tool.
check the screw holes aren't too large before final fit. if they are then the above adhesive in the screw holes and left to harden for a couple of days will give the screws something to bite into.
