This is a NEW unit that replaces the original Rooflight in the Bedford Bambi and Elddis Nipper with a 360mm / 14 Inch mounting hole.
It likely also fits many other campers using this hole size.
This is not a common size anymore , especially for the thin roof of these vehicles so we had these made.
This is as near to the original standard as possible, with a white manually openable top and fixed fly screen
To fit we suggest using coarse threaded stainless steel screws, seal up former holes using a Polyurethane adhesive sealant. clean up the old surface and remove any traces of silicone or other sealant. Around the inner edge of the upper mating surface to the hole we recommend applying a bead/rope of non setting putty., then Polyurethane adhesive for the outer, just before screwing down.
push firmly all around the flange to compress the putty, if used, and squish out the excess adhesive . screw down progressively all round . once complete, wipe off any excess adhesive, maybe applying some around the screw heads. Leave to set for a couple of days before using ideally.
the iner roof liner can be screwed on. a slight gap between it and the innerroof can be a benefit, especially if your inner roof is wet from a former leaking light. this will allow air to get to it to dry it out.
NOTE: if your roof is notably thinner then you can use a knife, jigsaw or similar tool to trim down the inner sleeve upper edge. Alternatively run a foam rubber stick on draught excluder strip around it to fill any gap between it and the inner roof.
